Welcome to my sportswear blog. Here I will report to you on my expeditions, adventures and various marine conservations efforts. This space will also include guest bloggers, ranging from marine scientists who share my passion for a better understanding of the marine world, to Bill Shedd of AFTCO, my clothing partner who will keep you up to date on the latest with the Guy Harvey sportswear line and more. Additional guest bloggers will provide you with important and up to date information on the world of fishing, diving and general ocean happenings. Hopefully this information will be interesting enough to you that you will want to take the time to comment back on this blog. I encourage you to do so.
While my paintings are the primary vehicle I use to bring you the ocean world, I also enjoy recording marine life with still and video cameras, both above the water and far underneath it. You can view much of that work on my TV series “Portraits from the Deep.” I also plan to share with you some of my still and video photography. Additionally, on this site we plan to present video clips and photos from a wide range of sources within the marine community. The ocean is an exciting world, and we will bring various parts of that world to you here.
Recently, I was fortunate enough to do some exciting research while diving with tiger sharks, and I plan to do a blog on that expedition in the near future. In the meantime, if you are attending the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show from October 29, 2009 to November 2, 2009, stop by my Guy Harvey booth to say hello. We will have on display not only a large selection of my original art work, and a wide assortment from my sportswear line, but also a number of additional new and exciting licensed products.
